Company profile

SAUERMANN Industries was set up in Paris, France, in 1976. Ever since then, Research and Development has always been the strong focus of the company which invested heavily both in highly qualified engineers and equipment. This has ensured that our condensate removal pumps always reflect the latest technological development and high quality in terms of quality assurance, acoustic comfort, ease of installation and use of its product line.

Sauermann can meet all user requirements through its wide range of pumps & accessories for comfort cooling Air-conditioning and refrigerated display applications. With a long experience and strong expertise in the manufacturing of condensate removal pumps, we are now the leader in the European industry.

We are now pleased to introduce you to the range of products especially suiting the needs and requirements of Asian customers.

Sauermann's services are ISO9001 (2000) and IQ Net certified and our products are CE, VDE and ETL U.S certified.

Condensate Removal pumps: Why? How?
Air conditioning, Refrigeration or Gas condensation heating systems lead to the formation of condensates (water droplets caused by hot and humid air passing on an evaporator).

What is a condensate removal pump?
It is a unit made of a pump block and an independent or integrated sensor system that is used, in the absence of a slope to evacuate the condensation by gravity.

This technology as 3 advantages:
- Respect for the interior design of the place where the system is installed. It indeed avoids having bulky and unaesthetic piping.
- Easiness, simplicity and safety of the system.
- Limited risk of bacterial contamination by wastewater, thanks to the absence of stagnating water and water backflow (check valve).

Monoblock or bi-block, the condensate removal pumps can operate according to 4 techniques:
Oscillating-piston pumps: sucks up then evacuates the water.
Centrifugal pumps: A turbine evacuates the condensation water. These pumps are intended for high-flow rate requirements and are particularly suitable for heavy and/or contaminated condensates.
Peristaltic pumps: Compressing a tube using a roller drives the condensates out (contaminated or not).
These pumps are self-priming and can operate without water.
Membrane pumps: The movement across the membrane is generated by 4 pistons and evacuates the condensation water even if it is contaminated.
